Small Sided Games for #WhitecapsFC Fitness

Today we used small-sided games (1 v 1) for short durations in a small space (10m x 20m) for soccer specific fitness. The intensity was super high and everyone worked hard and got a lot out of it. These types of games are a great way to ramp up intensity and work on fitness and technical skills at the same time. The research backs this up:

The use of the three-a-side games to develop physical fitness and technique in young soccer players is recommended.
