I recently received an invite to visit Real Madrid prior to an upcoming talk in Dublin and am super stoked to visit one of the most successful and well respected clubs in the world. Long term success is never an accident and should be viewed as the by-product of repeatedly doing things right and focusing on fundamentals. Here’s a great video of the team doing a pre-match training session where there are some nice examples of their warmup routine and physical preparation including the use of hurdles for mobility, maximal effort sprinting, and some well-integrated use of the ball.
